Well, this is the first time that I try to buy a car. I ask them to finance me, so that way I could pay them directly and start a credit line. Veronica said that they'll help me with it. I had 3,000 dlrs for a down payment and asked for monthly payments between 150-200 if possible. Paul was agree and decide to show me a couple of cars, I ended test driving around 8 cars, the best deal he offer me it was a 2003 ford escape with 99xxx miles with a payment of $300/month for 72 months ($24,600 total. Obviously ridiculous, no wonder they have no prices on their cars, you will hear " price is negotiable" yea right!). I understand that is hard to trust people specially if they don't have a credit history and you have to finance them, but why give a guy 3 appointments to test different cars waste your and his time when you know you are not going to sell him a car. Won't be better just tell him what's in your possibilities and if you can't help him don't waste his time.
I'm sure honesty starts there.
