Review 10/12/2010

On Sep 17, 2010 I was busy closing my shift at my motel sorting out some transactions. During this time someone walked around the property and copied down our motel information on some form. He appeared very much like an official doing inspection, and asked me for my name and signature on that form. I asked what I am signing for. He said "that I have been here to check." In a hurry to close shift I signed but after he left I started to wonder. A week later we got a bill from Fire Protection Systems Inspection Co. for $449.50 for service we never asked for and we received. In order for them to perform the services listed, they would have to get access from us. I looked at the paperwork attached. The form where I signed says "authorization" and he added "manager" under my name without my knowledge, and I am not the manager. On a separate form that says "inspection results" - he falsified my initial. He did ask for my initial on some paper. I refused at the time because I had already signed once, but he ended up falsifying. (due to my limited English writing, this was written by my wife, based on what I told her.)
