Review 1/14/2010

We had 9 inches of water in our crawl space after a large rainfall in October 2009. We contacted two contractors to evaluate the problem and remedy it. Both suggested expensive ($12-13,000) systems. After his evaluation Issac Savage of Home Energy Partners called us and told us that in reviewing the photos he took in our crawlspace he noticed water entering where our main sewer line went through the foundation. Our house is 2 years old and we had the builder dig up where the sewer pipe exited. He found that it mistakenly had not been sealed which was done last month by the builder. Home Energy Partners were thorough, careful and discovered something that the other company and our builder had not. We did have Home Energy Partners put in a sump pump which they did promptly and at a reasonable cost. We hope the problem is solved but if more needs to be done we will call Home Energy Partners.
