I wish I had done more research before spending $9500 of my hard earned money. You'd think that, with all my education, I would have been smarter with my cash and not trusted this place just because it was advertised on KFI. I guess I had a false sense of security even though my gut instincts told me not to trust these people after the high-pressure salesman told me how much I was going to be paying and I only saw the Dr. for maybe 2 minutes. The contract states that after you have a treatment, everything becomes "ala carte" if you decide to cancel...so I think that is why they tell you that you can "start right away" once you pay. It wasn't until I showed up for the first Fraxel laser treatment (and already had the numbing cream all over my face) that I was presented with something to sign that said I understood that the average improvement in acne scarring was only 40%! I could have just cancelled right then and gotten at least some of my money back...but I did it anyway. In fact, I had 2 Fraxel treatments (very painful) and several ruby pulse dye treatments over the course of the next few months...and they did nothing at all. I basically wasted almost $10,000 and I have nothing to show for it. At least I can't say that I look worse...thank God for that. Have read horrible things about "Lifestyle Lift" and places like that disfiguring people and ruining their appearance. After this experience, I doubt I will ever trust anyone again. Anyway...I have no more money to throw away on this sort of thing so I supposed it doesn't really matter. I am, however, ashamed of myself every time I think about this. If my experience can keep someone else from making the same mistake though, I guess that is some consolation.
