Business's response - by Maurice Rosaleron 10/6/2010

Our firm has handled hundreds of clients since we started helping taxpayers with their tax problems and this is the first negative review to appear and it is, frankly, meritless.
In this case the client does not mention he had an Offer in Compromise as prepared by us for him. The firm offered to continue to negotiate with the government on the client’s behalf when the settlement was not accepted but he requested we cease to represent him in one of his over 95 back & forth emails to us. The client was sent copies of the IRS Form 911 we filed on his behalf with the IRS and also was sent on 9/9/2009 his Offer in Compromise so I can’t see how he can state we didn’t do work for him or contact the IRS. In his negative review the individual fails to mention any of this or that this all happened over a year ago.
I have been doing tax resolution for over 24 years, 18 of those with the IRS and I pride myself in my skills and knowledge and in my firm’s efforts on behalf of our clients. When a client is honest with us we can get the best resolution allowed by the IRS or the state or both and we always work a case to closure for a low one-time flat-fee with no upsales, etc.
Recently we were mentioned in Forbes.com as one of only a few reputable, trustworthy tax resolution firms by a highly regarded attorney in the tax field. I’d take his word over the baseless complaint of one lone whiner.
We have been in business the better part of six years and as anyone in business knows you’re going to get a few disgruntled clients with un-founded complaints; luckily our reputation in this field stands on its own and one single complainer isn’t going to ruin it.
