Molina Healthcare hires those that brag about passing their drug screening with the help of supplements. A very new employee was discussing with another staff member that he "scored" when he found out he passed his drug screening a few ago because he "gets high all the time, sometimes even on my work break". Luckily I was in the right place at the right time to overhear the malicious conversation. It seemed as though the new hire felt comfortable enough to discuss his drug screening lie with the staff member as if he knew them previously ... but when you discuss things like that, the company kitchen is not the safest place. but in this case it worked out and raised my attention to this serious matter.It seemed as though the staff member that was listening and carrying on the conversation with the new hire wasn't concerned of the seriousness of the situation, so I chose to take it upon myself to handle this matter that is unacceptable and unprofessional. If Molina does not take this seriously and refuses to drug screen the most recent new hire, I will be forced to no longer reference Molina as a reputable company and continue to report this company to the BBB. Molina Healthcare should require all new hires (if not all employees) to take a 'same day' drug screening during the employees work shift. I'd suggest not to have them take the drug test during their lunch break because some people already have plans for that time of day. I believe this same day drug screening (should be annouced when the staff comes to work that same day) will allow Molina to make the necessary changes.
