Didn't provide service - charged me extra for it
|
Hired this company for a cross-country move.
- Alana said they would handle everything, including coordinating all the necessary details between my apartment company and the driver. I had to do it the day of delivery.
- They had two other companies handle the pick up and delivery without telling me, which Rick acknowledged.
- Rick couldn't even figure out which company was which because they were reversed in the computer system.
- The drivers arrived 3 hours late for the pickup.
- The delivery arrived several hours earlier than scheduled, with only 20 minutes notice.
- My "binding estimate" was increased by 50% after everything was loaded into the truck.
- I received no updates on delivery until I called and threatened to file complaints.
- Alana and Todd both said they were going to resolve the increased prices. Did nothing.
- Delivery driver would not unload my items until I paid full invoice with increased rate. Todd said he would resolve. Did nothing.
- Rick claims that Nationwide provided a service, but could not articulate anything other than "coordinate your move."
Thousands of dollars to make a couple calls and completely confuse the entire process. I don't call that a service.
