10/10 - As good as a refinancing experience could get

Couldn't recommend Optimum First enough.
My wife and I bought a house earlier this year and did our original mortgage through a large credit union. That process was a headache, and incredibly impersonal - most of the stuff we had to Google on our own to figure out (which was scary since we're new to this whole mortgage thing), in addition to that we were either intentionally or unintentionally mislead on closing dates, rate buy downs, and even our interest rate which changed three times due to it being a 90 day escrow (the credit union told us our rate was locked in, but it changed every 30 days and eventually had to pay to lock it for the last 30 days of escrow)- - we wouldn't have signed with them in a million years if we had to do it again.
Needless to say, we were dreading our refinancing as we anticipated a similar or even worse experience. However, we were incredibly surprised with our experience with Optimum. Not only did they give us an absolutely incredible rate we were honestly not expecting, but Jarrett Beach and Kathy Nguyen went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. *Every* single thing was meticulously explained which gave us great confidence in our refinance.
In addition to that, Jarrett and Kathy would be working on our loan on weekends and even at nights dealing with our complex situation to ensure we closed on time and for the anticipated closing amount.
I couldn't hope for a better refinancing experience honestly - they turned something my wife and I had been dreading into an effortless experience. Top tier stuff - I will and have recommended Optimum to friends and family, which is a lot for us because we hardly recommend anything especially when it comes to financial things.
No surprises, solid rate, impeccable professional and personal service, no gimmicks and closed on time despite our complex situation. 10/10.
