Shining Star Media has separate websites for Amharic, Oromo (Oromiffa) and Tigrinya. These are called Amharic.com, Oromiffa.com, and Tigrinya.com. Links to these can also be found on africanlanguage.com which has a now defunct for langiuage tools for Somali as well.
The company's address is listed as Shining Star Multimedia 21832 Tumbleweed Circle Lake Forest, CA 92630" and the two telephone numbers listed for this company are: (866) 844-5255 and (714) 782-7264. I received a confirmation email dated March 7, 2017 indicating my payment for the DVD "Amharic 4 Our Kids" had been received (24.99 + 8.50 s/h) and the DVD shipped via priority mail. The DVD never arrived. I called the 800 number, only to have a man with an African accent deny any knowledge of or association with Shining Star Media or any company selling marketing products. He refused to identify what company was associated with this 800 number or provide his name. I also called the 714 number, and a boy with an accent answered the phone, but denied knowledge of Shining Star and hung up when I asked to speak with his parents. I called back but the telephone was not picked up.
