Thorsen Tool Company is not a worthy of company
|
I bought a Thorsen brand spark plug socket that came with a lifetime warranty. There was a problem with the socket so I wrote the company few times. They did not bother to respond to any of my letters written to them. Following a link in the web, I ran across their new contact information and wrote them an e-mail. I asked for a help in warranty coverage, the representative name Lucas Lukassian replied. He has series of questions asking about the product and replied as follows: In order to get a replacement, you can either bring it in to our warehouse in Ontario, California for exchange or send me the broken tool and a $4.00 Check or Money order Payable to Thorsen Tool Co (for shipping charges) Make sure to attach your ship to address (NO PO Box) and copy of this Email to: Thorsen Tool Co 1932 S Lynx Ave Ontario, CA 91761 (Please Note; No exchanges on any tools with RUST on them). Thanks, Lucas He is asking me either to visit the company in California (I live in IL) or pay $4 shipping charge. If I have to pay the shipping charge, I would have to also pay the shipping cost to send the broken socket to California. I can buy a damn thing from local Sears store, probably less than that of shipping costs. I feel like I’ve been in a loop of joke from this guy name Lucas Lukassian from Thorsen Tool Company. I do not know why they cannot send me to a local Thorsen retailer to take my socket for a replacement, like Craftsman hand tools do. DO NOT BUY THORSEN TOOLS.
