Review 3/21/2011

We had VIP move us from So Cal to No Cal. They weren't the cheapest but seemed the most thorough with their walk thru.
They came on time, moved us efficiently, arrived when they said they would.
Two problems came up.
1. We had our treadmill broken and they would not repair because the exterior was not damaged. There were broken parts inside when the cover was removed, which they acknowledged but would still not fix. The comment was the mechanical condition was unknown.
2. The inventory list showed every item we moved to be in poor, damaged condition. Even new items were marked as damaged in some fashion, this would keep them from making good on surface damage.
With that said it is unfortunate I have to give them a negative review. The workman were very nice and seemed to care for our things but accidents happen. Why risk a bad review over a few bucks to make a customer satisfied?
It makes me wonder what would happen if things went badly.
My advice is to follow the one making the inventory closely and question what they write down. Test, in their presence, every electronic device to prove the condition. Otherwise it's "unknown". Test again when delivered.
I know that seems like a pain but it's your only protection.
Good Luck.
